Antoni Dalmases

Antoni Dalmases, born in Sabadell in 1953, is a distinguished Catalan writer and professor with an extensive career in the world of literature and education. With a degree in Hispanic Philology, he has worked as a primary school teacher and as a Catalan Language and Literature teacher in secondary education, as well as a professor of Didactics of Catalan Language and Literature at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and the University of Barcelona. He has also taught “Narrative Techniques” at the Aula de Lletres in Barcelona and Didactics of Universal Literature at the ICE of the University of Girona. He has written numerous narrative books for children, YA, and adults, highlighting youth novels with which he won the Gran Angular award, as well as adult awarded with the Octubre narrative prize. He has collaborated with various media outlets, such as the newspaper El Punt and the magazine Quadern, and has participated in radio programs with Albert Om.
